HEPCO was created by Herbert E. Peitzer in 1973 as an engineering resource company. The name HEPCO came from Peitzer’s initials, followed by the word company. In 1992, HEPCO was bought by its current CEO, David du Pont. Under his leadership, he expanded the company to include other staffing disciplines such as Aerospace & Defense, Transportation, Telecom, and IT.
