Field inspection and coordination of the construction work with emphasis on the structural aspect. Will be required to, but not limited to, the review of shop drawings and as-built drawings, development of scopes of work and estimates for additional work orders, coordinate labor services, inspection of field activities to ensure that the contract requirements are met.
Engineering
A Bachelor Degree from an accredited college in engineering. NYS P.E. preferred.
Transportation and railroad experience and 5 - 10 years of construction experience for large and/or complex projects. Familiarity with project management procedures, ability to communicate effectively with excellent written, verbal and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specification. Experience in computer applications and programs.
