Senior Network Operations Engineer

Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.

Flexibility, willingness to work different shifts and weekends as necessary.

Shift differentials:  2nd - 10%, 3rd - 15%

$100 per day for weekend shifts and holiday work.  Average of 3 holiday shifts per year required.

• Perform advanced system administration for the deployed network.
• Perform installations of proprietary software across the many different networks.
• Writing / scripting of network tools and alerts.
• Quality check and debug network releases.
• Perform on-call rotation for after hour assistance and escalations.
• Handle network event escalations through to resolution.
• Provide training and guidance to peers.
• Develop and document procedures for problem resolution.
• Diagnose troubles identified by network monitoring and working to resolve issues.
• Monitor, troubleshoot & correct server and network problems and live network broadcasting issues.
• Work with various third parties (Engineers, System Architects, Infrastructure Vendors, Customers, Developers) to narrow down problems and achieve resolution.
• Clearly and effectively document information in the trouble ticket system for communication to other staff, open tickets and follow up on escalated problems.
