Description:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.
Flexibility, willingness to work different shifts and weekends as necessary.
Shift differentials: 2nd - 10%, 3rd - 15%
$100 per day for weekend shifts and holiday work; Average of 3 holiday shifts per year required.
- Diagnose troubles identified by network monitoring and working to resolve issues.
- Monitor, troubleshoot & correct server and network problems and live network broadcasting issues.
- Work with various third parties (Engineers, System Architects, Infrastructure Vendors, Customers, Developers) to narrow down problems and achieve resolution.
- Clearly and effectively document information in the trouble ticket system for communication to other staff, open tickets and follow up on escalated problems.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in CS, MIS, or other related field preferred or equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
- Overall Experience: 5+ years.
- Solid understanding of UNIX-based operating systems.
- Knowledge of TCP / IP networks, connections, wiring and cabling, and network management.
- Familiarity with fault detection, trouble ticketing, escalation and other related operational concepts and processes.
- Excellent reliability and dependability.
- Programming ability in Perl or Python a plus.
