Description:
Telecommunications Professional must be capable of engineering routine and specific outside plant work orders, both distribution and feeder. Must be capable of providing administrative and field support to the outside plant work forces.

Required Experience:
Must have at least 2 years outside Plant - Central Office/Wire Center Engineering experience to include:
- Working with Delayed Orders (Copper and Fios DORs), design and project management of Greenfield Developments (Copper/Fiber- Residential and Business New Growth).
- TLS and ICB projects.
- Billable Engineering processes, Permitting (DOT, County, City) and experience with project managing multiple short and long term projects simultaneously.
Applicants must also have experience with building work order packages to be routed to the field for construction. This experience should include:
- Task/Cas coding of work orders, generating detailed work order narratives, creating and understanding critical work order milestone dates and having the ability to work with other departments to ensure timely execution of work orders.
Required Skills:
Must be familiar with Verizon systems to include: ICGS, IDDS (Microstation V8), AAIS, iVAPP, BDMS (Fios Manager) and V-Build.
Must also have working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and working with on-line forms and applications.
