Description:
Provide monitoring, coordination and engineering support services for Communications Projects reporting to Design Manager and Operations Managers.
The Communications Engineer shall have experience and knowledge of:
- New technology, system and/or circuits modification required at various phases of the work, installation of cable (in conduit, in duct), conduit, CCTV, intercommunication systems, intrusion and access control system, Ethernet switches and IP networks.
- Highly experienced in design, installation, inspection, testing, operation and where applicable, programming of equipment, material and systems required to perform all aspects of the work involved.
- Ability to plan and direct the work and be familiar with equipment which is identical or highly similar to that specified.
- Shop and field experience with assembling and adjusting customized communications equipment.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Factory trained and certified by the Access Control and Intrusion Detection system manufacturers.
Required Experience:
- Strong written and interpersonal skills and various PC application programs are required.
- Strong familiarity with CCTV applications and the current software and hardware used to support the project.
- Strong knowledge of Electronic System Integration and knowledge of Electrical Engineering standards.
